Strengthening Sustainable and Environmental Livelihood in the Maldives

Objectives 
•    Environmental Awareness: Equip residents with knowledge on climate adaptation, waste 
reduction, and biodiversity protection. 
•      Practical Skills: Train participants in eco-friendly practices such as composting, recycling, 
sustainable fishing, and renewable energy use. 
•                                                Community Empowerment: Strengthen collaboration between councils and communities to 
co-create local environmental solutions. 
•      Livelihood Development: Introduce green entrepreneurship opportunities, including eco
tourism, handicrafts, and sustainable agriculture.
