We have conducted an eco-workshop on resource management and community-led environmental planning under "Strengthening Environmental Sustainability and Livelihood" Project funded by European Union in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and supported by The Asia Foundation
The workshop brought together passionate individuals and community leaders from Male' City Council , WAMCO, Housing Development Corporation , Male' Water & Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd., FENAKA etc to:
-Explore practical strategies for sustainable resource use
-Share ideas on building resilient, eco-friendly communities
-Empower local voices in environmental planning
This collaborative effort is a step forward in creating communities that thrive while protecting our planet. Together, we are shaping a future where sustainability and livelihood go hand in hand.
Let’s continue to nurture our environment and strengthen the bonds that make our communities sustainable!
